The acting Comptroller General of Customs; Bashir Adewale Adeniyi has embarked on a comprehensive tour of Nigeria Customs Service Headquarters, engaging with officers and gaining valuable insights into their daily work.
During his interactions with the officers, the acting Comptroller General displayed attentive listening skills and expressed his appreciation for their dedication and hard work. He acknowledged the challenges they face and recognized their significant contributions to building a Customs Service that effectively supports and empowers its human resources.
One of the key messages delivered by the Customs boss was the administration’s commitment to enhancing the professional development, welfare, and well-being of the officers. He highlighted the importance of improving training programs, ensuring a conducive working environment, and providing the necessary resources to enable officers to carry out their duties effectively.
