MARAN Holds Summit On World Seafarers Day

The Maritime Reporters Association of Nigeria has packaged a one Day Summit to commemorate this year’s Seafarers Day celebration.

In line with the International Maritime Organisation’s (IMO’s) title  of this year’s seafarers’ Day; “Faces of the Sea”, the summit will focus attention on the challenges faced by Nigerian Seafarer’s, development and prospects of Nigerian seafarers as well as shipping industry.

The Maritime Reporters Association of Nigeria has packaged a one Day Summit to commemorate this year’s Seafarers Day celebration.

In line with the International Maritime Organisation’s (IMO’s) title  of this year’s seafarers’ Day; “Faces of the Sea”, the summit will focus attention on the challenges faced by Nigerian Seafarer’s, development and prospects of Nigerian seafarers as well as shipping industry.

The Chairman of the summit is Joshua Oyewunmi, MD, Dangote Ports Operation while Captain Abiodun Omoteso will be the Guest Speaker.

The event is scheduled to take place on June 25, 2013 at MARAN Press Centre, Atlantic House, Apapa, Lagos.
