The Maritime Security Providers Association of Nigeria (MASPAN) will convene its Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Friday, 21st November 2025, in Lagos, bringing together licensed operators, regulators, and key stakeholders to advance a unified approach to national maritime security.
According to a notice issued by the Publicity Secretary, Esther Oibo, the meeting is scheduled to hold at the Radisson Blu Anchorage Hotel, Victoria Island, with proceedings commencing at 9:00 a.m. The AGM will provide a structured platform for members to assess the past year’s activities, review sector developments, and consolidate strategic priorities for the year ahead.
As Nigeria’s maritime domain continues to evolve, the association is placing renewed emphasis on strengthening operational standards, tightening regulatory compliance, and deepening collaboration across security agencies and private operators. The AGM will also focus on aligning members with emerging policy directions and reinforcing MASPAN’s role as the sector’s coordination backbone.
This year’s meeting comes at a critical time for the industry. Issues around maritime safety, deterrence capability, and the sustainability of private-sector security support remain central to national discourse.
