MWUN Reassures Continue Support Towards Growth Of Maritime Industry

The President General, Maritime Workers Union of Nigeria (MWUN), Comrade Adewale Adeyanju, has given assurances that, the continuous support of the union to the growth of maritime sector in the country.

The union in its Easter message, which was released on Sunday stated that it is committed to promoting the well-being of members and employers alike, while also extending hand of fellowship to all and sundry

The union commended the Nigerian Port Authority (NPA) Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA), Seaport Terminal Operators of Nigeria (STOAN), Nigerian Inland Waterways Authority (NIWA) and the Nigerian Shippers’ Council (NSC) for their constant collaboration and humane regulations.

The union also appreciated the Federal Ministries of Transportation, Labour and Employment, as well as the Nigeria Labour Congress and all well-meaning Nigerians for their unalloyed support to the union.

“The President General Com. (Prince) Adeyanju Adewale, Maritime Workers Union of Nigeria wishes the government, people and all maritime stakeholders a very happy Easter celebration.

We reassure all that we will continue to support growth in our sector while promoting the well-being of our members and employers alike.
