NAGAFF Dissolves National Exco: Lifts Ban On Electioneering Campaigns For 2018 Chapter Elections

The National Executive Committee of the National Association of Government Approved Freight Forwarders (NAGAFF) has been dissolved. 
 
A statement issued in Lagos yesterday by the Secretary Board of Trustees of the association; Mr  Dipo Olayoku confirmed the dissolution. 
 
 
The statement however quoted the association’s national president; Chief Increase Uche as  
announcing the action at an emergency meeting of its national officers on Tuesday. He was quoted to have also explained that the dissolution was in line with the constitution of
NAGAFF.
 
“Chief Uche expressed the appreciation of the Founder, Dr. Boniface Okechukwu Aniebonam and the BoT to the erstwhile National Officers for their selfless service to the Association, and wished them success in their future endeavors, the statement added.
 
The NAGAFF President reportedly urged the erstwhile officers to continue to be dedicated to  the cause of NAGAFF, and serve it in any capacity they might be called upon, adding that there will always be need to tap into their wealth of experience in the service of the association.
 
Members of the dissolved National Officers reportedly took turn to thank the Founder and  the BoT, and pledged their continued loyalty to NAGAFF, while thanking the association  for the opportunity offered them to serve at the highest level of administration.
 
Meanwhile, the National President has lifted the ban on electioneering campaign towards the 2018 elections into the Chapter Executives. He urged whoever is interested in occupying any position in the Chapter Executives to go into the field to canvass for votes.
 
He however advised Contestants to play by the rules and put the interest of NAGAFF into account as they go about the campaigns. 
 
 
 It would be recalled that the current Chapter Executives came into office in April 2014, after the March 2014 elections which brought into office for  a four- year tenure.
