Capacity building for members of the National Association of Government Approved Freight Forwarders, NAGAFF, Tin Can Island Chapter will receive priority in the next three years.
The assurance came from the chapter Chairman Chief Ekweozor Azubuike in a chat with newsmen in Lagos.
Chief Azubuike said members would be encouraged to read professional courses related to clearing and sponsored to attend conferences.
He said the Tin Can Island chapter would continue to be rebranded and taken to greater heights.
Azubuike who is seeking reelection said that he would subsidize the payment of Council for the Regulation of Freight Forwarding in Nigeria.
He said that his executive concentrated on building a good name for the Association and paying up the pile of debt that he met on ground.
He said he has rebranded NAGAFF such that agencies in the port no longer look at it with disdain.
