The spokesman of Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA), Osagie Edward, former spokesman of the agency, Mr. Isichei Osamgbi, the Chairman, Board of the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA), Chief Akinwumi Ricketts; and the former spokesman of the Nigeria Police Force, Frank MBA have been named as Fellows of Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR).
Other Public Relations champions inducted included: a former spokesman of Nigeria Customs Service (NCS), Assistant Comptroller General Wale Adeniyi and the Commandant Nigerian Army School of Public Relations and Information (NASPRI), Col Aliyu Yusuf.

Speaking during the inauguration and induction of Fellows at the 2022 Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) Annual General Meeting held in Abuja, the Chairman, Board of the NPA tasked Nigerians to be hardworking, committed and accountable while rendering Services.
Chief Ricketts who was one of the 79 newly-inducted Fellows of NIPR said, ” I am highly delighted because nothing beats the feelings when you reach the highest echelon of whatever organization you’re involved in and what excites me more is when I see my colleagues who are present here too.
“It makes me so happy and feel that I’m in the right kind of place where best practitioners are assembled.
“My advice to potential fellows and Nigerians is basically to do the right thing wherever you find yourself, work hard, be accountable, have faith and believe in God.
