The Baro river port cargo handling equipment installation has been completed and this is official.

The Managing Director of NIWA, Senator Adeleke Olorunnimbe Mamora confirmed this when he visited the Baro River Port to ascertain the level of work done so far. He was impressed by what he saw and the contractors are fixing the last equipment and assured the MD that it will be ready in another one week or two.
The NIWA boss commended the contractors for a job well done and also the community for being a good host and encouraged them to ensure the safety and security of the River Port.
He said the equipment at the Baro Port are first class and will bring glory not only to the Community and the state but the entire nation.
