The president is an experienced person and he is very versatile, the only advice I have for him is for him to keep the peace and unity of NAGAFF which is very important, most importantly, he should not be listening to gossips, he should carry everybody along in the course of discharging his duties. I know Adeyemi very well, I know him personally, he is well groomed in the maritime sector he has what it takes to lead NAGAFF. Taking over from Dr. Eugene Nweke is not a small task, knowing full well who Eugene is, anybody stepping into his shoes must be prepared, and I know that Adeyemi is also versatile. I have no doubt in my mind that he will perform. We are ready to work and corporate with him.

The problem we have is that the new NAGAFF President is a Yoruba man and he is coming into the midst of an Igbo-populated association, the ethnicity factor will always be there, given the kind of country that we are today, people attach religious and tribal sentiments which is very unfortunate. I hope the leadership of NAGAFF will not start bringing up tribal sentiments against him. The new President should be wary of the members, especially of NAGAFF founder, he should not expect to have 100% autonomy in that position.

Coming from the airport and representing the aviation sector, he should be reminded of the task ahead, I have tried to marry his coming on board with that of Eugene, by the time he puts his road map opposite Eugene's picture, he will see the areas he has to improve upon and the areas he has to drop. Eugene perfected during his tenure, but this time around we need something better than Eugene, so Adeyemi's work will be cumbersome, we are expecting a lot of things to change. Even though the man is not on ground, the Founder did well by bringing him on board, he is a member of FIATA, his deputy, Increase Uche is also a member of FIATA, my advice to Adeyemi is to hold on tight to his deputy who is on ground, they should combine this with his own influence from the aviation sector and he will do well.
Simeon Olua (NAGAFF Chieftain)
We wish him success and we want him to learn from the legacy of his predecessor, we have agreed to support him the way we supported Eugene, and we pray God will give him wisdom and understanding, it is not easy to be a leader and NAGAFF is not a small association, she is known worldwide. Contrary to insinuations that NAGAFF is an Igbo association, Eugene took over from Usman Sanusi who is from South South, so there is no way you can say NAGAFF is Igbo association.
Sir Osita Chukwu Patrick (SNFFIEC)I will start by saying that the outgoing President did a lot transformation in NAGAFF and we expect the new man on board to take the bull by the horn. He needs to look inward in areas affecting the association. The new boss should also watch what he says in public domain because he is the eye of the association and should make that issues that may lead to compromise must be avoided; then most especially, the president should help his members in the area of welfare. Those that are well to do in the association are not many, but you discover that many of them have challenges in the area of welfare; therefore he needs to focus on members’ welfare.
