A total of 122ships carrying various cargoes are expected to berth at various port terminals in Lagos between July 4 and 30.
A shipping position made available on Monday in Lagos by the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) said that the cargoes were laden with food items, fertiliser, old and new vehicles and petroleum products.
NPA said that 32 of the ships would berth at the ports this week.
It said that six other ships expected to berth were carrying 3, 600 metric tonnes of old vehicles, while 14 others laden with 5,111 metric tonnes of new vehicles.

The shipping position also said that 16 ships were carrying 354,275 metric tonnes of rice and another five ships laden with 11,359 metric tonnes of fish.
It said that 48 other ships were carrying general cargoes and containers, adding that 24 tankers were already discharging their products at various ports in Lagos.
The NPA said that nine of the tankers were discharging petrol, while two others were discharging diesel and one other discharging Kerosene.
