15 Ships With 191,060 Tonnes Of Cargo Expected In Port Harcourt Port

Fifteen ships carrying about 191,060.415 tonnes of goods are expected to berth at the Port Harcourt port between Monday and Wednesday.
Official documents made available to our correspondent on Monday, in Port Harcourt, showed that no ship was listed for export during the period.
According to the report, six of the ships are carrying rice, while two each of another six are conveying bulk cement, petroleum products and frozen fish.
Each of the remaining three are coming with bulk wheat, bulk salt and steel pipes respectively.

The ships expected with rice are: MV Sea Rose, 15,000 tonnes; MV DeshBandhu 1, 13,000 tonnes; MV Jahan Moni, 20,131 tonnes and MV Aisha SarWar, 20,000 tonness.
Also bringing rice are MV Beks Nazir, 20,000 tonnes, and MV FGM Admiral, 10,000 tonnes.
Those carrying bulk cement are MV Global Brave and MV Pacific Honour, each laden with 25,000 tonnes.
Equally expected at the port are: MT Cape Egmont with 6,999.8 tonnes of Tallow; and MT Master Force with 11, 5000 tonnes of Kerosene. Tallow is oil waste for industrial use.
The report listed the ships carrying frozen fish as MV Green Glacier, 3,800 tonnes; and MV Andromedia, 2000 tonnes.
Also listed as carrying 9,176.98 tonnes of bulk wheat is MV Jannie C; and MV Makarlia, 13,780 tonnes of bulk salt; as well as MV H. Hasand Turan, 2172.103 tonnes of steel pipes.
Meanwhile, the document also showed that nine ships with frozen fish, petroleum products and rice are currently anchored at the FairWay Buoy, Bonny, waiting for clearance to sail into Port Harcourt port.
