20 ships waiting to berth at Lagos ports

No fewer than 26 ships carrying petroleum products are waiting to berth at the various oil terminals in Lagos ports.
The NPA;s official document containing outcome of the daily berthing meeting that was made available to newsmen in Lagos indicated that 11 other ships containing rice, fertilisers, bulk malt, steel products, fish and general cargo, are also waiting to berth.
The document showed that 94 ships carrying various cargoes are expected to sail into the ports between Sept. 3 and Sept. 29.

The document showed that 94 ships carrying various cargoes are expected to sail into the ports between Sept. 3 and Sept. 29.
The document indicated that the ships were laden with general cargo, truck heads, fish, rice, bulk wheat and containers.
It said that other ships were expected to sail in with used and new vehicles, bulk urea, base oil, bulk clinker and petroleum products.
NAN reports that 31 of the expected vessels would sail into Lagos ports this week.
