23 Ships With 275.6m Tonnes Expected At Port Harcourt Port

The Port Harcourt Port expects 23 ships laden with 275.6 million tonnes of goods to berth between July 30 and Aug.1.
The report of the berthing meeting of the port that was made available on Monday in Port Harcourt, showed that no ship was listed for export during same period.
The report said that of the expected ships, eight were carrying bagged rice; six had petroleum products; four were laden with frozen fish; three had bulk wheat, while one each had bulk salt and bulk cement.

The report said that of the expected ships, eight were carrying bagged rice; six had petroleum products; four were laden with frozen fish; three had bulk wheat, while one each had bulk salt and bulk cement.
According to the report, ships carrying bagged rice are MV Majesty, MV Sea Rose, MV Peace Success and MV Desh Bandi 1.
Other ships with bagged rice are MV Jahan Moni; MV Aisha SarWar, MV Beks Nazik and MV FGM Admiral.
The report said that ships expected with petroleum products are MT Auckland with kerosene; MT Torm Hanstholm with gasoline and MT Blue Green Tigre also with Kerosene.
Other ships expected to arrive with petroleum products are MT Sea Progress with Kerosene; MT Halifax with fuel; and MT Cape Egmont laden with Tallow.
Tallow is waste oil for industrial use.
Ships expected with frozen fish are: MV Taganrogskiy Zaliv; MV Green Toledo; MV Cape Blossom; and MV Montevideo.
It said that ships arriving with bulk wheat are MV Nikator; MV Spar Gemini; and MV Fritz.
The report said that two ships would bring in bulk salt and bulk cement.
They are MV Global Brave with bulk cement and MV Four Diamond with bulk salt.
It said that four ships were anchored at the Fair Way Buoy at Bonny in Rivers, waiting for clearance to sail into Port Harcourt Port with their cargoes.
