Eighty six ships carrying various cargoes are expected to sail into the Lagos Ports between Aug. 28 and Sep. 29, the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) said.
The NPA shipping position made available to newsmen on Wednesday in Lagos, showed that the expected ships are laden with bulk wheat, general cargo, used and new vehicles, fish, rice and bulk urea.
The document showed that other expected cargoes are truck heads, rice, containers, steel products, containers, wheat, base oil and petroleum products.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that 44 of the expected ships are to arrive the ports this week.
According to the document, 11 ships are waiting to berth with different contents including general cargo, rice, bulk malt, fish, fertiliser and soda ash.
It said that 18 tankers were also waiting to discharge petroleum products such as diesel, petrol and aviation fuel.
