Also joining the elite list of IFFN fellows are: chief Sonde Chikaobi of SDV, Deacon Simon Arowosola, Alhaji Abduazeez Mikhaila , Mr Lexzy Nwangwu.
Chairman Port Consultative Council and former president of the institute who also presided over the ceremony, Alhaji Waheed Kareem appealed that the institute should be supported by members and agencies in the sector, because, according to him, the institute needs a lot of backing.
Earlier in his welcome address, the president of the institute, Dr. Zebulon Ikokide had explained that the ceremony was put together to create a platform for better networking among members and to allow for interaction on issues and challenges facing the institute, even as he added that the event was also a forum organized to honor some deserving members whose contributions had helped towards the advancement of the ideals and vision of the institute.
Dr. Ikokide also pointed out that the institute is faced with challenges such as inadequate funding to execute projects.
