The Association of Nigerian Licensed Customs Agents (ANLCA), has been nominated for an Award as the African Maritime & Energy (AME) Customs Brokers Association of the Year in Africa.
This is contained in a statement made available to newsmen in Lagos on Wednesday by ANLCA.
According to the statement, the award would be given at the 3rd Africa Shipping and Oil Roundtable/Investment Forum/Exhibition to be held in August in Cape Town, South Africa.

According to the statement, the award would be given at the 3rd Africa Shipping and Oil Roundtable/Investment Forum/Exhibition to be held in August in Cape Town, South Africa.
The statement said that the theme of the event is: “The Global Partnership for the Sustainability of Infrastructure Development of the Maritime and Energy Sectors’’.
According to the statement, the event would be organised by Africa Business and Logistics Supports Services (ABSLSS).
It also said that the event was designed to help Africa meet its infrastructure development requirement necessary for the continent’s integration into the global maritime, energy and trade circle.
The event, which would serve as a platform for trade facilitation in Africa, would afford experts the opportunity to reflect on new directions for the profitable growth of the continent.
Prince Olayiwola Shittu, the National President of ANLCA, said that the award was a testimony of the efforts of the association to carve a niche for itself globally.
