Dealers in fairly-used automobile in Lagos have expressed readiness for anticipated increased sales in the ‘ember months’, even as they promised to sell at affordable prices despite the fall in the value of the Naira.
The dealers who had lamented recently about low sales since the beginning of the year, expressed believe the period between September and December may bring good sales.

Speaking last week, Managing Director Fortune Mega Motor, Chief Pius Akide expressed optimism in the last four months of 2015, even as he affirmed that "cars sales in the ember period will bring something positive"
"Things have been rough this season, but we believe that the table will turn from now to December end. "
"Prices of cars at the moment still remain the same and by the time the festive period approaches, we will have to sell at the same price."
He maintained that there is no increase in the price of cars at the existing markets in Apapa
On his part, another dealer; Ezenwa Chukwudi pointed out that car dealership usually record good sales during the Ember months.
Chukwudi added that automobile dealers along Apapa Oshodi expressway in Lagos are prepared for September to December sales .
Chukwudi however appealed to government to have a rethink about the automotive policy for the sake of sales.
