•Marketers Abandon Kerosene at Depots
Apparently protesting  the gradual fall in the pump price of kerosene, some marketers have refused to load the product, arguing that he prevailing price is unfavourable to them.
  They blame the development on the decline in the price of the kerosene, following its massive importation and distribution by the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC).
One marketer who spoke with our correspondent said that she paid for the essential product with Zenon Oil about two months ago when there was scarcity but lamented that the product is just being made available to her now.
According to her, she paid for the products at the rate of N90 per litre but now that the product is N78 per litre, arguing that she can not be compelled to sell at that price because of the difference. 
When Shipping Position Weekly visited some depots in Lagos last week, it was a common story of refusal by marketers to accept the product form the depot owners. Depots visited by pour correspondent include: Ibeto which is currently being used by Zenon oil, SPG, Rahamanniya and few others.
Another Marketer, Olanife Adeoye confirmed the dilemma of the marketers to Shipping Position Weekly. According to him, “this situation has always been happening; marketers will pay for a product and they will not get it until after a month or sometimes three months. As a rational human being, I will not want to buy a product at the rate of 90 Naira and sell it for 78 Naira. Rather than lose their money, some of them have even decided to load and dump it at the filling stations”.
