Seme Chapter Election:

Ahead of today’s Seme Chapter election of the National Association Government Approved Freight Forwarders (NAGAFF),its national president; Chief Eugene Nweke has reassured members of the association of a free and fair election.
The NAGAFF boss in a chat with Shipping Position Daily in his office in Lagos yesterday also passed a vote of confidence on the electoral commission of the association, saying that all is set for the election.

Ahead of today’s Seme Chapter election of the National Association Government Approved Freight Forwarders (NAGAFF),its national president; Chief Eugene Nweke has reassured members of the association of a free and fair election.
The NAGAFF boss in a chat with Shipping Position Daily in his office in Lagos yesterday also passed a vote of confidence on the electoral commission of the association, saying that all is set for the election.
He said that nobody outside the Seme chapter of the association will be allowed to vote, adding that it is not possible for a member who had voted before to be allowed to cast any vote.
According to him, there will be no postponement of the election and the election must hold today, saying that NAGAFF election is never organized like a town hall meeting elections.
“NAGAFF is a professional association with ethics and code of conduct and we also uphold morals in all that we do alongside discipline and we will allow anyone to say that there some form of irregularities in the election’’, he stressed.
Nweke further advised that contestants should conduct themselves in an orderly manner, even as he threatened that nobody will be spared when found wanting at the poll.
He assured that,  “I will not bring down myself as the president to know or listen to political conversation of interest, but when it becomes obvious , we make the necessary statement by allowing the contestant to play their politics and anyone they believe he can defeat NECOM should have a second thought about it’.
Speaking further he pointed out that  NAGAFF election have guidelines, procedures and electoral time tables, adding that there are ways to go about conduct of the elections.  
He warned that members who are not duly registered at  the Seme chapter should forget about voting at the elections,  because, according to him, security will be tight and whoever is found wanting would not be spared.
