
The Nigerian Shippers’ Council (NSC), on Friday marked a significant milestone in service delivery with the signing of a performance bond between the Executive Secretary/Chief Executive Officer of the Council, Dr. Akutah Pius and the Council’s management team.
The bond was the high point of a wo-day Special Management Retreat which held in Lagos.
According to a statement issued by the Council on Saturday, the symbolic ceremony, which involved Directors, Heads of Departments, and Units, reinforces the Council’s unwavering commitment to upholding its core values, ethical standards, and operational excellence.
Tasking the various heads, Dr. Akutah emphasized the importance of teamwork and accountability in driving the Council’s mission to promote trade facilitation and economic development. “This bond signing marks a new chapter in NSC’s journey towards excellence. It symbolizes our collective resolve to work together towards achieving our goals and objectives and making a meaningful impact on the Nigerian economy.” he stated.
Speaking further, he also urged all stakeholders and members of the Council to support the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and the Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Adegboyega Oyetola, in ensuring sustainable national development through strategic collaboration and responsible service delivery.
