Dr. Boniface Aniebonam (Founder, NAGAFF)

I encourage the president to learn how to take decisions. Decisions taken might be wrong, but you must know how to make decisions. If you don’t know how to do that, you are not a leader.

Segun Musa (Deputy National President, NAGAFF)

He should open his mind to learn very fast. He admitted that he needs to learn a lot of things which I agree with him. He also needs to be a standard leader. As a leader, he is not better than every other person, but has more responsibilities. To show yourself as an exemplary leader, humility must be your watchword. He must be a team leader that learns and works with everybody. He should also ensure that he establishes a hand of friendship across borders. If he is able to do these things, I’m sure the sky is his stepping stone.

Simeon Nwonu (Chairman NAGAFF Academy Board of Studies)

Administration is organic in nature; it is like a cobweb that is it is interrelated. I believe our new President is people-oriented and open to everyone. He should make sure NAGAFF has a new look, focused and rejigged for the benefits. It also requires the cooperation of all the members to help him achieve this.

Chidiebere Enelamah (Chairman Board of Trustees, NAGAFF)

The new issues and patterns should be geared towards acquiring a NAGAFF structure, visitation to all NAGAFF commands, strict adherence to the rules of engagement, constructive engagement of all government agencies, ensuring our members are updated knowledge-wise and welfare of members properly looked into. And finally, ensure that all come together.

Francis Omotosho (Registrar, NAGAFF Academy)

I know he has the capacity to deliver. He is a goal-getter, not a failure and he knows exactly what to do. I believe he will definitely deliver all his promises and do all he has said for posterity and also to protect his integrity. Definitely he is going to take NAGAFF to the next level and I expect a lot of changes in the NAGAFF modus operandi that is, the operations of NAGAFF will change and is not going to be business as usual as he said. NAGAFF is a movement. The train has started moving now and anyone who tries to cross the train is a gunner. I know we are moving to a very high level and the destination is sure. Definitely we are going to succeed together.

Stanley Ezenga (Former PRO, NAGAFF)

NAGAFF is aimed at correcting the ills of the industry. Nigeria is being regarded as a country where anything goes, but NAGAFF has come to change that narrative and make sure that things are done the right way it should be done as other developed countries. They should encourage all young freight forwarders by enrolling in CRFFN accredited institutions to improve their knowledge in the industry. This is because the chances of breaching the law is very minimal to those who are knowledgeable. The administration should not lose focus.

Tony Iju (President, ANLCA)

I’m full of joy and happy that I’m going to work with him for the next one year and six months, we should put our house together and put strategies on how to move the maritime industry forward, they have tried to divide the house because we are not working, but when we come together, which we have already started, I assure him the mantle of leadership and mandate will be accomplished.

Joshua Adams (NAGAFF Compliance Team Member)

They should stay in the right direction. By the grace of God, God has given the founder the wisdom to come in at the right moment. We need people that can be vibrant and take the industry to the next level. He should work together with the team members to make NAGAFF a stronger association.
