2 Dead & 25 Wounded After Israeli Helicopter Fires Missile Into Crowded Gaza Port

An Israeli attack on the Gaza seaport, west of Gaza City, reportedly killed 2 Palestinians and injured 25 people.

According to eyewitness accounts, an Israeli helicopter fired a missile at a crowd gathered at the seaport, which has become a place of shelter for the displaced civilians.

Hundreds of tents are erected along the waterfront amid a severe shortage of necessities.

Ambulances took the bodies of the two victims and also the 25 injured people to a nearby hospital, though not much can be done since Gaza is short of basic medicines, adequate food and basic supplies.

The Israeli military has not responded nor commented on the incident.

In the past few days, Israel has increased airstrikes across Gaza, targeting displaced families, public gatherings, crowds and residential buildings, leading to several deaths.

According to Palestinian health authorities, over 75,000 civilians have been killed since the conflict began.

After a ceasefire was reached between Hamas and Israel, which entered into effect in October 2025, Israeli attacks have killed around 1000 people in the enclave.
