Every week, on the Maritime Education Page, we take our numerous readers round the industry and above all, to the classroom; via the ShipTalk column. We seize this opportunity to express our appreciation to those training institutions which have made Shipping Position Daily newspaper a must- buy for their students and cadets.
Through the weekly Maritime Education page, we have come to have a better understanding of the challenges of manpower development in the maritime sector in Nigeria.
More importantly, we have come to appreciate the numerous contributions of these institutions to the development of manpower in the Nigerian maritime sector.
Institutions, such as the ones we are showcasing from pages 7 to 10 of this edition commit resources and energy to ensure that Nigeria meets the challenges of qualified manpower for the maritime sector.
