A Customs Officer attached to the Federal Operations Unit FOU Zone A as shot an importer over refusal to path away with some money.
Upon reaching the scene of the event, eye witnessed confirmed to our correspondent that the clearing agent was driving a 2019 RAV 4 when the customs Officer demanded for the duty payment, after which they accused the agent of underpayment and demanded that he path way with some money which he refused which led the happy triggered officer to shoot him after trying to leave.
The clearing agent has just been recently taken to New Nigeria Hospital at Kirikiri where he is currently receiving treatment.
Efforts to get the PRO FOU Zone A proofs abortive as his line were unreachable.
