Recognizing the pioneering status of the Maritime Reporters Association of Nigeria (MARAN) as a leading force in maritime journalism, Comptroller Dera Nnadi, the Area Controller of the Tin Can Command of the Nigeria Customs Service, will be visiting the International Press Centre of MARAN on Friday, July 12th, 2024.

Nnadi’s visit to the MARAN Secretariat at 13c Marine Road, Apapa, aimed to forge a strong and mutually beneficial working relationship between his command and MARAN. During the visit, MARAN plans to discuss various issues with the Comptroller, particularly the activities of the Tin Can Island Customs Command in boosting trade for the overall benefit of the nation.

Comptroller Nnadi has consistently demonstrated dedication as an officer of the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS), making significant impacts in various commands he has led. He also has a notable background in public relations, having served as the public relations officer for the Apapa Command earlier in his career. His effective communication skills and successful tenure have contributed to his rise to the position of Area Controller.
