The Customs Area Controller (CAC), Federal Operations Unit, Zone `A’ Ikeja, Mr. Isa Nuhu, has assured that the unit would collaborate with all Customs commands in the Customs Zone ‘A’ to achieve government’s fiscal policy.
Nuhu said this in Lagos last week during a courtesy visit to the Unit by Mr Tajudeen Olanrewaju, the Customs Area Controller, Ports and Terminal Multiservice Ltd.(PTML).
“I am here to complement the efforts of the area controllers.
The Customs Area Controller (CAC), Federal Operations Unit, Zone `A’ Ikeja, Mr. Isa Nuhu, has assured that the unit would collaborate with all Customs commands in the Customs Zone ‘A’ to achieve government’s fiscal policy.
Nuhu said this in Lagos last week during a courtesy visit to the Unit by Mr Tajudeen Olanrewaju, the Customs Area Controller, Ports and Terminal Multiservice Ltd.(PTML).
“I am here to complement the efforts of the area controllers.
“I am assuring you of my full support on anything that is lawful and would move the service to greater heights,’’ Nuhu said
The controller urged all other controllers in the zone to support the Comptroller- General of Customs, Dr Dikko Abdullahi, and the management team in achieving its six-point agenda.
Nuhu expressed delight at the CAC’s visit and promised to support his command.
He urged the controller to also support him with advice, saying that “only a foolish man will say that he does not need advice’’.
He described the CAC, PTML, as one of the "versatile officers" in the customs service.
In his response, Olanrewaju said that the visit was meant to establish partnership to ensure that government’s fiscal policy objectives were achieved by the service.
Olanrewaju described Nuhu as a dedicated officer who had participated meaningfully in the development of the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS).
He said that the visit was also meant to acknowledge the CAC’s position in charge of F.O.U. going by his professionalism.
