Customs Port Harcourt Area I Command Hits N48.5b In 2012

The Port Harcourt Area I Command of the Nigeria Customs Service  has taken stock of its activities in  2012, disclosing that the command  surpassed its N48.5billion revenue target for the year.
The Public Relations Officer of the Command Mr. Harry Samuel who made the disclosure in Port Harcourt on behalf of the Area Controller, Kuffi DG described it was an impressive performance.
Harry said that the honour goes to the Customs Area I Controller, Port Harcourt, whom he said worked hard, with zeal and commitment to attain the feat.

He said that at inception of January last  year Customs Headquarters gave  Command a target, which he said with the effort of Kuffi and  support of the men of his command, he was able to  achieve. He noted that Area I command, Port Harcourt stands out in the Eastern Zone, as one command that exceeded their target in revenue.
According to the statement of performance the total revenue generated by the Command was N48. 456, 693, 603
While the Command made N7.722,348,263.95 in October 2012, it also recorded N2,180,074,107.31 in November while there was an improvement in December with N5 ,487,186,258.88.
The image maker of the command told Shipping Position Daily correspondent  in Port Harcourt that with  the speed of his  boss, he is optimistic  that Area I Port Harcourt command of Customs will not only meet its target in 2013, but will also exceed it.
