FFAN Holds Oil And Gas Programme This Week

Privately owned maritime institution, the Freight Forwarders of Nigeria [FFAN], is set to hold a training programme in diploma in oil and gas logistics this week.
As part from professionalism, integrity and scholarship that the private academy is known for in the industry, the programme is also targeted at those that are in the aviation, energy and haulage and transport business.

Privately owned maritime institution, the Freight Forwarders of Nigeria [FFAN], is set to hold a training programme in diploma in oil and gas logistics this week.
As part from professionalism, integrity and scholarship that the private academy is known for in the industry, the programme is also targeted at those that are in the aviation, energy and haulage and transport business.
The Public Relations Officer of the academy Mr. Daniel Williams told Shipping Position Daily in Lagos last week that the programme is designed to enlighten individuals about the best practice in the oil and gas sector.
The spokesperson explained that the training is designed for those that are intending to be part of the sector even as he said that it is open to other individuals that admirer to explore the industry.
‘’The programme is targeted to those in the industry and those who wishes to be part of it as well. The institute will give them a background knowledge that is necessary for successful operation.”  Williams said.
‘’The programme will x-ray the petroleum industry, especially in relation to logistics operation and support for both offshore and onshore processes.
He also said that prospective students will understand what international and local distribution of the oil and gas distributions entail. “Those in the movement of oil and gas all over the country will find the course fulfilling as it  will not only certify them, but also broaden their skills about  their chosen field of discipline’’.
According to him, the course contents include introduction to petroleum management ,shipping in Oil and gas ,oil and gas distribution network ,offshore logistics operation ,petroleum terminal management, introduction to freight forwarding in petroleum sector and introduction to petroleum economics.
He noted that entry requirements include Freight Forwarders Academy of Nigeria [FFAN] Certificate, Ordinary National Diploma [OND], National Certificate in Education [NCE], Higher National Diploma [HND], and Bachelor of Science [BSC].
However, the spokesperson added that the lecture hours will be in the morning, evening and that weekend sessions will also be available to participants.
