Forte Oil receives ISO 9001:2008 certification

Forte Oil Plc has recently received the NIS ISO 9001:2008 certification from the Standards Organization of Nigeria (SON)
With this certification, Forte Oil now joins the select list of Quality Management System certified companies in Nigeria.
According to a statement by the company, the ISO 9001:2008 certification process involved intense audit of systems and processes of the business across Nigeria in order to determine compliance with global standards.

Forte Oil Plc has recently received the NIS ISO 9001:2008 certification from the Standards Organization of Nigeria (SON)
With this certification, Forte Oil now joins the select list of Quality Management System certified companies in Nigeria.
According to a statement by the company, the ISO 9001:2008 certification process involved intense audit of systems and processes of the business across Nigeria in order to determine compliance with global standards.
The assessment process covered both the Lubricant Oil Blending Plant, (capable of producing up to 50,000 metric tonnes of about 100 different grades of lubricating oils annually) Aviation Depot, Sales, Finance as well as other operational and non- operational areas of the business across Nigeria.
Receiving the award, the Acting Chief Executive Officer of the company, Mr. Akin Akinfemiwa, said the certification was a confirmation of Forte Oil’s commitment to consistently offering her customers, good quality products and services from a well-managed environment.
In his words ‘‘as globalisation evolves, the only competitive edge a business such as ours can offer our customer is quality.’’
‘‘Consistent Quality products and services is one of the surest ways of winning a respectable place in the hearts and minds of your customers’’.
Akinfemiwa also commended the SON for the high level of professionalism exhibited during the audit processes.
Conveying the news of the award to Forte Oil, Director- General, SON, Dr. Joseph Odumodu, wrote, “I have the pleasure to inform you that the quality management system (QMS) of Forte Oil Plc is hereby adjudged by the Standards Organisation of Nigeria to conform to the requirements of NIS ISO 9001:2008 standard and your facilities are hereby certified.
The certification was earned after a series of pre and main assessments of Forte Oil Plc’s Quality Management System by a team of auditors from the SON.
