The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) confirmed yesterday that eight ships carrying petrol and other products are waiting to berth at Lagos ports.
Four of the vessels are waiting to berth with petrol while the remaining four would berth with aviation fuel, diesel and fertilizer.
Similarly, 30 other ships laden with petroleum products, food items and other goods are expected in Apapa and Tin-Can Island ports between June 26 (yesterday) and July 30.
The ships being expected are bringing in – bulk wheat, containers, steel, frozen fish, empty containers, base oil, butane gas, bulk fertiliser, general cargo and petrol.
