“Much has been said about the commencement of the Ibaka deep seaport but up till now, we are yet to see anything serious going on there.
“The seaport project is one that will address many problems in the state when completed and becomes operational.
“It will address the issue of crime, violence and youths’ restiveness as many youths will be employed,’’ Ante said.
The youth president, who was also a former Chairman, Mbo Local Government, advised government to be serious with the project based on its numerous benefits.
According to him, apart from serving as an opportunity for the teeming unemployed youths in the area, it will make Mbo Local Government an industrial hub of the South- South region.
“We will always collaborate with relevant youth leaders in Oron to provide a conducive environment for investors and contractors handling the seaport project.’’
