The President of the Oyo State Shippers Association (OYOSSA), Elizabeth Olanrewaju Nwankwo, has congratulated Mrs. Bolanle Emmanuel on her retirement from the Nigerian Export Promotion Council (NEPC), describing her exit from public service as the culmination of a distinguished career dedicated to the advancement of Nigeria’s non-oil export sector.

In a congratulatory message made available to stakeholders in the export community, Nwankwo praised Emmanuel for her years of meritorious service to the Federal Republic of Nigeria, noting that her contributions to export promotion, enterprise development, and capacity building have positively impacted countless entrepreneurs and businesses.

According to her, Emmanuel’s commitment to supporting exporters, cooperatives, women entrepreneurs, and other stakeholders within the non-oil export value chain helped strengthen the export ecosystem in Oyo State and across the country.

Nwankwo noted that throughout her tenure at the NEPC, Emmanuel distinguished herself through professionalism, dedication, and an unwavering passion for promoting Nigerian exports, adding that her efforts created opportunities for businesses to access regional and international markets.

She stated that many exporters benefited from Emmanuel’s guidance and mentorship, which enabled them to acquire the knowledge, confidence, and resources required to compete effectively in global trade.

The OYOSSA president further acknowledged Emmanuel’s accessibility and willingness to support stakeholders, describing her as a dependable partner whose collaborative approach contributed significantly to the growth of the export community.

“Congratulations on your successful and meritorious service to the Federal Republic of Nigeria, the export community, and countless entrepreneurs whose businesses have benefited from your dedication, professionalism, and unwavering commitment over the years,” Nwankwo said.

She added that Emmanuel’s contributions to export promotion and development have left an enduring legacy that will continue to inspire future generations of trade and export professionals.

Reflecting on their professional relationship, Nwankwo said she would greatly miss Emmanuel’s encouragement, support, and commitment to helping exporters navigate opportunities within the non-oil export sector.

According to her, Emmanuel consistently demonstrated a readiness to guide, mentor, and collaborate with stakeholders, a quality that earned her the respect and admiration of many within the industry.

She emphasized that Emmanuel’s retirement marks the end of an important chapter in the history of export promotion in Oyo State, while also opening a new phase of opportunities and personal fulfillment.

Nwankwo prayed for God’s continued blessings upon the retiree, wishing her good health, peace of mind, joy, and a rewarding retirement.

“As you commence this new chapter of life, I pray that Almighty God grants you good health, divine protection, peace of mind, joy, fulfillment, and abundant blessings. May your retirement years be rewarding, productive, and filled with greater opportunities to continue touching lives and contributing to national development,” she stated.

She concluded by thanking Emmanuel for her years of dedicated service and for the positive legacy she leaves behind, noting that members of the export community would continue to remember and appreciate her invaluable contributions to the development of Nigeria’s non-oil export sector.
