A new Executive Secretary has been appointed for the Petroleum Products Regulatory Agency (PPPRA) in person of Engineer Goody Chike Egbuji, who formally took over leadership of the agency last week.
Taking over the mantle of leadership, at a hand-over ceremony which held at the Agency’s Boardroom, in Abuja, Egbuji, expressed deep appreciation to the former Chief Executive, Mr. Abiodun Ibikunle, and solicited for his assistance in the arduous task ahead.

Taking over the mantle of leadership, at a hand-over ceremony which held at the Agency’s Boardroom, in Abuja, Egbuji, expressed deep appreciation to the former Chief Executive, Mr. Abiodun Ibikunle, and solicited for his assistance in the arduous task ahead.
Egbuji, who until his recent posting, was the General Manager, (Projects) at the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), particularly commended the administration of Mr. Ibikunle, as well as other relevant Stakeholders, at making petroleum products available nationwide, and at government-regulated prices.
He called for the mobilization of all resources towards facilitating and obtaining collective commitment and determination of all staff, towards the attainment of organizational goals.
“It is our duty to ensure that all efforts are geared towards effecting significant and positive changes, in order to justify the confidence reposed in our collective abilities to move PPPRA to the next level,” he said.
Earlier in his handing-over remarks, the out-going Executive Secretary, Mr. Abiodun Ibikunle, thanked the board, and staff of the agency for the support he received, and their contributions at ensuring that regulatory body effectively maintains its pivotal roles in the downstream sector.
