Nigerian Shippers’ Council has reaffirmed its commitment to improving port efficiency and ensuring a level playing field at the nation’s ports through effective regulation.
The Executive Secretary and CEO of the Council, Dr Akutah Pius Ukeyima stated this during a recent courtesy visit by the management of Onne Port Multipurpose Ltd, to NSC Headquarters in Lagos.
Dr. Akutah acknowledged the significant investment made by Onne Port Multipurpose Ltd, in Nigeria’s economy and assured them of NSC’s support in facilitating seamless operations.
He also emphasized the Federal Government’s efforts to boost non-oil exports and attract more investors, positioning Nigeria as a key global trade hub.
In his remarks, Mr. Scannavini, the new MD of Onne Multipurpose Terminal, expressed his commitment to collaborating with NSC to enhance port operations.
He assured that the terminal would continue adding value to Nigeria’s economy through efficient service delivery.
