Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited, owned by High Chief Government Oweizide Ekpemupolo, also known as Tompolo, has successfully completed the reconstruction of the 3 Battalion Soldiers’ Transit Accommodation at Effurun Barracks in Delta State.
This project forms part of the company’s commitment to improving the welfare of military personnel through its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives.
The reconstructed facility, which was formally handed over to the Nigerian Army, was redesigned and furnished with modern amenities to provide enhanced living conditions for soldiers stationed at the barracks.
According to a statement from Tantita Security, the move is aimed at supporting the Army’s efforts to maintain a high level of morale among its troops by ensuring their accommodation is both comfortable and conducive to their needs.
Speaking during the formal handover ceremony, representatives of Tantita Security highlighted the significance of the project, noting that the company’s efforts extend beyond its primary role in securing the nation’s oil infrastructure.
By investing in projects such as these, the company is contributing to the well-being of communities and the security forces that work tirelessly to protect the nation.
The newly renovated transit accommodation is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, ensuring that soldiers have access to comfortable and modern living quarters during their stay at Effurun Barracks.
The facility boasts enhanced sleeping arrangements, improved sanitary systems, and recreational areas, all aimed at creating a more relaxed and homely environment for soldiers.
This CSR initiative by Tantita Security has garnered praise from both military personnel and local community leaders, who commended Tompolo for his continuous efforts in fostering security and development in the Niger Delta region.
The project underscores the role of private security companies in not only safeguarding critical infrastructure but also in contributing positively to the social and infrastructural development of the country.
With the successful completion of the Effurun Barracks project, Tantita Security has further solidified its reputation as a company committed to corporate responsibility and national development.
The company’s leadership reaffirmed its dedication to continuing such projects in the future, focusing on initiatives that uplift communities and support the nation’s security apparatus.
This renovation is seen as a reflection of the company’s broader philosophy of giving back to society, particularly to the military, which plays a crucial role in maintaining peace and stability in Nigeria.
As the soldiers of 3 Battalion move into their newly upgraded transit accommodation, the gesture is expected to boost their morale and provide them with the comfort they deserve as they continue their service to the nation.
