14 Fuel-Laden Ships Waiting To Berth At Lagos Ports

The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) on Wednesday said that 14 fuel-laden ships are waiting to berth at the various oil terminals in Lagos ports.
In its daily bulletin on ship movement that was made available to newsmen in Lagos, the NPA said that the ships were laden with petrol, aviation fuel, kerosene, diesel and base oil.
According to the document, the ships are expected at the New Oil Jetty (NOJ), Single Buoy Mooring (SBM), Atlas Cove Jetty (ACJ), Bulk Oil Plant (BOP), Ibafon terminal and Nispan terminal.

According to the document, the ships are expected at the New Oil Jetty (NOJ), Single Buoy Mooring (SBM), Atlas Cove Jetty (ACJ), Bulk Oil Plant (BOP), Ibafon terminal and Nispan terminal.
It indicated that three ships namely: MV Ephezibah, MV Alangova, and MV Star Reliance were waiting to berth at Apapa Bulk Terminal Ltd. and at the ENL Consortium Ltd Terminal.
The three ships contain base oil and rice.
The shipping position also indicated that 89 ships are expected at the various terminals in the Lagos ports between Oct. 17 and Nov.22.
It said that the expected ships would sail in with bulk urea, rice, petroleum products, bulk wheat, containers, new and used vehicles, bulk sugar, general cargo, fresh fish and bulk malt.
The document indicated that 15 ships are presently discharging bulk wheat, rice, fish, containers, general cargo, bulk sugar, base oil and petrol in the ports.
