Clarion Bonded Terminal Handles 15,421 Units of Vehicles in 2011

Off dock vehicular terminal operator, Clarion Bonded terminal says it successfully handled a total of 15,421 units of vehicles from January to December of 2011.
Statistics obtained by Shipping Position Daily from the company in Lagos last week shows that in the first quarter of 2011, a total of 4,606 units of vehicles made it to the terminal.

Statistics obtained by Shipping Position Daily from the company in Lagos last week shows that in the first quarter of 2011, a total of 4,606 units of vehicles made it to the terminal.  
For the month of January alone, the terminal which receives most of its vehicles from the Five Star Logistics Terminal in Lagos as a result of a standing business partnership; handled a total of 3,205 units of vehicles while February recorded 259 units. In the month of March, a total of 1142 units of vehicles made it to the terminal.
The vehicles that are located at the bonded terminal were been transferred from the Tin Can Island Port via the five Star Logistics terminal which is a Roll On Roll Off terminal designed for vehicular importation .
Also in the second quarter of the year, the terminal had a total of 5,293 units of vehicles which saw the month of April with 2,135 units of vehicles, followed by 1651 units in May and the month of June had 1507 units of vehicles.
The third quarter statistics shows that a total of 4,335 made it to the off dock vehicular terminal and out of this, 1542 units of vehicles was recorded in July while in August a total of 1,468 units was recorded and in September , the terminal recorded a total of 1325 units of vehicles .
However in the last quarter for 2011, the company recorded a total of 1,187 units of vehicles and this indicates that the last phase of 2011 recorded the lowest input to the terminal as the month of October had 363 units of vehicles and the month of November did not even recorded a single vehicle while in the month of December it did 824 units of vehicles.
