Dr. Kayode Farinto a Presidential Candidate for the 2023 NECOM election and immediate past Acting National President of the Association of Nigerian Licensed Customs Agents (ANLCA), has pledged to revitalize the dormant Brawal Terminal (Kirikiri Lighter Terminal) if elected on August 15, 2023.
During his campaign visit to the terminal, Farinto emphasized that ANLCA could take over the terminal and restore its vibrancy through proper channels.
Highlighting his 10-point agenda as outlined in his manifesto, Farinto expressed confidence that his team, comprising individuals of integrity and dignity, would bring prosperity back to ANLCA. He urged members to support his team, promising that they would not be disappointed.
As part of his campaign efforts, Farinto and his team visited the Customs Area Controller of the KLT Command, affirming their commitment to maintaining a strong and beneficial relationship between ANLCA and Customs.
The Chapter Chairperson of the KLT, Esther Oyeleke, welcomed the campaign team and urged members to cast their votes for Dr. Farinto’s team, citing their ability to restore the association’s lost glory.
The campaign tour successfully covered all Zones and Chapters of the association nationwide, including visits to Port Harcourt, Abuja, Kano, Apapa, Tin Can Island, PTML, Murtala Mohammed Airport, Seme border, Ikorodu, and KLT.
The ANLCA NECOM election is scheduled for August 15, 2023, with the venue yet to be announced by the Association Electoral Commission (ASECO).
