The Aguiyi Ironsi International Market in Ladipo, Lagos state said it has commenced online sales of imported new and fairly used motor spare parts as part of efforts to check malpractices by unscrupulous middlemen.
Chairman of Aguiyi Ironsi International Trade Centre, Mr. Ajibade Olajoku, explained that the development became necessary in view of the fact that some people, because of their busy schedules, might not be able to go to Ladipo market to buy spare parts and were often frustrated by middlemen.

Chairman of Aguiyi Ironsi International Trade Centre, Mr. Ajibade Olajoku, explained that the development became necessary in view of the fact that some people, because of their busy schedules, might not be able to go to Ladipo market to buy spare parts and were often frustrated by middlemen.
"We are determined to remove middlemen who specialise in frustrating customers. We are online 24 hours."
Olajoku, who was quoted in a statement said, "we have network of partners who will supply us with brand new products that we make available to our customers”.
“We have an internal mechanism to ascertain the products, the new ones have warrantee of one year while the tokunbo have guarantee of 30 days.”
"We have trained mechanics, rewires, technicians, vulcanizers, painters and we do home delivery and installation of the products,"he added.
