The Maritime Workers Union of Nigeria (MWUN) has announced the sudden death of the wife of its Secretary General, Com. Felix Akingboye.
In a statement made available to newsmen yesterday by the Deputy Secretary General of the union, Comrade Oniha Erazua, he said Mrs Akingboye died at the age of 71 years on Monday.
“It is with a heart full of grief that the maritime workers union of Nigeria announce the unfortunate demise of Mrs. Abike M. Akingboye, the lovely wife of our chief scribe and Secretary General of our great union – MWUN , Com. Felix S. Akingboye.
“The incident occurred on Monday 10th October 2022 after a brief illness.
May her gentle soul rest blissful in the Lord’s bosom” the statement reads.
