The National Association of Government Approved Freight Forwarders (NAGAFF), has sworn in recently elected executives of the Seme chapter of the association.
The executives included the re-elected Chairman; Ekene Ajunwa and others who were sworn in on Monday at the Seme border chapter of the association.

The  association’s leadership which conducted the swearing in was led by the chairman of the Board of Trustees; Mr Chidiebere Enelamah, who urged the newly elected chairman and his executives to pursue a policy of reconciliation with other candidates that contested against them but lose.
"Your first assignment is reconciliation, put that at the back of your mind, you must bring everybody back to the association because when election is coming up, different groups come up and that will definitely lead to factionalisation of the association, but after election and winners emerge then there is need to reconcile all warring factions in other to drive the association forward."

Enelamah also advised the association members against sabotaging the effort of the executives as that could spell doom for the association.
"To the members, do not work against your executive because if you do that today it may be your turn tomorrow, when they are going astray, advise them because it will be for the good of everyone if the association is doing better.
"You must endeavour to work as a family, do not degrade yourself, do not work at cross purposes, let us imbibe the spirit of working as a family."
Responding to the BoT chairman admonition, the re-elected Chairman, Ajunwa promised to reconcile the various factions that may have come up during the last election.
He said, "we believed we are one family in NAGAFF hence, we must see our self as one, though I have not met with the other factions, I will make it a point of duty."

Speaking further, Ajunwa promised the association members good time, saying that he would consolidate on the good work he did during his first tenure.
"This is just the starting point and we hope to serve you better, consolidate on the relationship that was built between the security agencies especially the Customs and NAGAFF, with your welfare paramount on our mind."
It would be recalled that Ekene was last month returned unopposed as the Chairmanof  Seme border  chapter of the association, after his only opponent; Chris Agbawodikeizu boycotted the election.
The build up to the election was fraught with intrigues, accusations and counter accusations by the two contestants.
Due to the intrigues that characterised the pre-election campaign, the national leadership of NAGAFF preached reconciliation and unity among members of the association after the election.
