The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) on Wednesday said that the renovation of the cargo terminal at Murtala Mohammed International Airport (MMIA), would increase cargo business turnover on completion.
Mr Saleh Dunoma, Managing Director of FAAN, said in a statement in Lagos that the organisation was committed to the completion of the terminal.
The statement came after he undertook an inspection of ongoing projects at the terminal and other areas along with some other officials.

Dunoma said that the terminal would help to sanitise activities at the cargo section.
He said that the pilgrims’ terminal located within the same axis, would also be completed.
According to him, the terminals are designed with special emphasis on safety and security for the overall benefit of airport users.
He said the pilgrims’ terminal, when completed, would provide comfort and decent passage for both Christian and Muslim pilgrims.
