A new Customs Area Controller has been appointed for the Federal Operations Unit, Zone A in Ikeja. He is Mr Dan Ugo; a Comptroller.
Comptroller Ugo, a seasoned and experienced officer has promised to sustain the tempo of anti-smuggling drive, prevent loss of revenue from possible duty evasion and remain focused in pursuing the six points Agenda of the Comptroller-General of Customs, Alhaji Dikko Inde Abdullahi (OFR).

Comptroller Ugo, a seasoned and experienced officer has promised to sustain the tempo of anti-smuggling drive, prevent loss of revenue from possible duty evasion and remain focused in pursuing the six points Agenda of the Comptroller-General of Customs, Alhaji Dikko Inde Abdullahi (OFR).
Before his deployment to the customs busiest anti-smuggling command, (FOU ‘A’) which covers the entire south-west, Controller Ugo had served in several commands; including Port Harcourt Area III Onne, from where he came to F.O.U ‘A’ Ikeja – Lagos.
A masters degree holder from the University of Lagos, he has also attended series of service courses both locally and internationally including; the World Trade Organization modernization course in Taipei, U.S.A and United Kingdom and many other countries to mention a few.
Comptroller Ugo has also received commendations from numerous agencies, including the Comptroller-General of Customs, and minister of internal affairs for his meritious services.
The FOU Controller is happily married with children.
