NPA Apapa New Office Complex Ready Soon

Managing Director, Nigerian Ports Authourity (NPA), Malam Abdulsalam Mohammed has assured that the new two-storey office complex at the Lagos Port Complex (LPC), Apapa will be ready for commissioning before the end of this year.
The new office complex which construction started a few years ago  consists of 60 standard offices, fire services station, a 1000 KVA standby generating set and a 200 capacity car park.
Malam Abdulsalam who inspected work on the complex last week expressed satisfaction with the standard of work and advised the Management of the Port to maximize the benefits of the building and to make it attractive to all visitors when it is put to use.
He also advised that the building must be kept clean and tidy at all times while also suggesting that grass, flowers and palm trees be planted to enhance its aesthetic  beauty.
The Managing Director also disclosed that he will soon approach the board with request for approval for furnishing, provision of air conditioners and other accessories to sustain the standard expected of such offices.
Present at the inspection were:  Executive Director Finance & Administration, Mr. Adetola Atekoja, General Manager Port Promotion and Development, Mr. Sonny Nwobi, Asst. General Manager Public Affairs, Musa Ilya and the Port Manager, LPC, Mr. Joshua Asanga, among others.
