The CMCSL President, Alhaji Shamsideen Balogun, disclosed this at the association’s exhibition of home appliances, furniture and healthcare products in Lagos.
“Three-day exhibition is meant for members to come out en mass and make their choice on various commodities and products exhibited.
“The exhibition is just one of the good plans of the management of NPA, Headquarters Staff, CMCSL, for cooperators and very soon other programmes will be unfolded to members of the society,’’ Balogun said.
“The exhibition, which is the first of its kind among cooperative societies in Lagos, is an avenue for various companies to showcase their products.
“It also enables cooperators and members of the public to come out en mass to buy various items and equipment for home and office uses,’’ he said.
Mrs Olufunmilayo Ibraheem, the Director of Cooperative Services, Lagos State Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperative, commended the management of NPA for the initiative.
“I urged the NPA cooperative staff to keep on with the good work they are doing,’’ Ibraheem said.
She urged other cooperatives in the state to emulate NPA headquarters staff cooperative.
Ibraheem said that the effort behind the exhibition was fantastic and implored the executive management of NPA cooperative to make the exhibition a yearly event.
