NPA says 68 vessels are expected to berth in various terminals in Lagos

The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) said yesterday that it is expecting 68 vessels in the various terminals at Lagos ports between October 22 and November 11.
According to the NPA, 39 of the vessels would sail in with containers, while 10 would arrive with petroleum products including fuel, kerosene, diesel and base oil.
It said that five would arrive at the ABTL, J/DAM and ENL terminals with food items including buckwheat, bulk malt and frozen fish.

The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) said yesterday that it is expecting 68 vessels in the various terminals at Lagos ports between October 22 and November 11.
According to the NPA, 39 of the vessels would sail in with containers, while 10 would arrive with petroleum products including fuel, kerosene, diesel and base oil.
It said that five would arrive at the ABTL, J/DAM and ENL terminals with food items including buckwheat, bulk malt and frozen fish.
Eight of the vessels would sail in with vehicles, three with general cargo, while the remaining three vessels will come in with different items including steel products.
The NPA also said that 20 vessels, laden with various petroleum products, had arrived at the Lagos ports and were waiting to berth.
“Fourteen of these vessels waiting to berth are carrying fuel, three are carrying kerosene and each of the three left are carrying aviation fuel, base oil and gas,” it said.
The NPA also said that four motor vessels that arrived at the ENL, TICT and ABTL were carrying general cargo, container and frozen fish.
