•    May Dissolve Electoral Committee
There is palpable unease in the Association of Nigerian Licensed Customs Agents (ANLCA) as the board has fixed an emergency meeting for today (Monday) in the emerging face-off between it and the outgoing national executive council.
Even though majority of the key players in the high wired politicking have denied that there is any unease or misunderstanding, our correspondents however learnt that majority of the chapter chairmen of the association are queuing behind the national president; Prince Olayiwola Shittu.
Shipping Position Daily confirmed last week that the ‘emergency meeting’ being summoned by the association’s Board of Trustee (BoT) for today will witness some pronouncements.
It was confirmed that, at the meeting the outgoing national executive council   will officially be given three months extension of tenure.
The association’s electoral committee may also be dissolved at the meeting.
But, sensing that the meeting may be used to undermine the second term ambition of the incumbent president, some of the chapter chairmen have vowed to put the board in their rightful place.
Without necessarily committing himself, one of them, the Chairman, Tin Can Chapter; Prince Kayode Oyinlola told our correspondent last week that “ a NEC meeting has been scheduled for Monday, if there is anything going on, this is the highest ruling body to take decision on anything the board might bring up”.

Shipping Position Daily had reported exclusively last week that there was trouble in the house of ANLCA , and that the bone of contention is the widely known second term ambition of the association’s national president; Prince Olayiwola Shittu.
