20 ships with 254,000 tonnes of goods expected in Port Harcourt

Twenty ships carrying 254,078.15 tonnes of goods are expected to berth at the Port Harcourt Port from Aug. 6 to Aug. 8.
The shipping position of port made available in Port Harcourt on Monday showed that a ship carrying 5,000 tonnes of kerosene would be exporting the products to an unknown destination.
A breakdown of the expected ships showed that seven were laden with bags of rice; four are carrying petroleum products and another four ships have frozen fish.

The others are two with bulk wheat, another two ships with bulk cement, while one ship is carrying general cargo.
The ships with bags of rice are MV Sea Rose with 15,000 tonnes, MV Peace Success with 15,000 tonnes, MV Deshbandhu with 13,000 tonnes and MV Jahan Moni with 20,131.5 tonnes.
The other ships with rice are MV Aisha Sarwar with 20,000 tonnes, MV Beks Nazik with 20,000 tonnes and MV FGM Admiral with 10,000.032 tonnes.
The ships manifest showed also that MT SP Auckland is carrying 5,000 tonnes of Kerosene, MT  Cape Egmont with 6999,8 tonnes of Tallow, MT Biskra with 5,600 tonnes of Bitumen and MT Captain Gregory with 28,869 tonnes of fuel.
Tallow is waste oil for industrial use.
According to the shipping position, the ships carrying frozen fish are MV Montevideo with 5041.314 tons, MV Nova Florida with 1,500 tons, MV Reina with 2187 tons and MV Montevedio with 5,000 tonnes.
The ships expected with bulk wheat are MV Nikator with 11,000 tonnes and MV Spar Gemini with 10,000 tonnes.
MV Global Brave with 25,000 tonnes and MV Pacific Honour are laden with 25,000 tonnes and 25,000 tonnes of bulk cement respectively.
One ship; MV Victoria is also carrying 9749.50 tonnes of general cargo.
