Alabi who represented the General Manager of Eastern Zone expressed happiness with the workshop,stressed that it has brought to the burner all issues bothering on health services and technical involvement is delivering prompt service.

Alabi who represented the General Manager of Eastern Zone expressed happiness with the workshop,stressed that it has brought to the burner all issues bothering on health services and technical involvement is delivering prompt service.
He observed that the workshop gives an opportunity for health workers and medical officers of (NPA) to share common knowledge and information on the best world acceptable practices in giving health care to people.
He said that is no fear at the long run,that the training workshop will pay off in terms of high medical service delivery to employees of the agency.
Alabi commended the organisers for a job well done and tasked the health officers to implement what they learnt at their respective areas.
He also advised NPA workers to take issues of physical exercises seriously,as he said it has health benefits , as though in the workshop.
The Deputy GM,also encouraged all to adhere to the dietary guidelines recommended for doctors at the workshop.
In his remark,the Assistance General Manager (AGM),medical services (NPA) Headquarters,Dr.(Mrs) Chinwe Ijeoma Abama said the workshop wellness initiative "is a combined programme of medical officers of NPA drawing from all the ports in the country.
She said that "it is a routine medical forum, that is being rotated, noting that this year's programme holding in Port Harcourt is significant.
"This gathering of medical professionals from Lagos ports Tin Can Island port in Lagos and Eastern ports of Onne, Warri, Calabar and Port Harcourt is aimed at ensuring that our doctors acquires new knowledge and update new and world acceptable current trends and practices in health care delivery”, she stated.
On her part,Chief Medical Officer of Rivers Port ,Mrs Margaret Osakwe expressed appreciation at what she called" high attendance and participation to the wellness initiative workshop".
She observed that information acquired in the workshop will add value not only to medical practice in NPA clinics, but to NPA staff and those having peculiar health challenges.
The Rivers Port Manager, Mrs Carolyn Akum Ufere,who spoke through the traffic Manager ,Mrs Eunice Ezeoke, in a vote of thanks,thank all the participants for honouring their invitation to come to Port Harcourt for the workshop.
She said that the opinions expressed will be of great benefit not only to medical officers, but to their patients at their respective clinics.
