Even as the palpable tension continue to envelope the Association of Nigerian Licensed Customs Agents (ANLCA) as a result of the report of the panel set up by the association to look into grievances arising from the last elections, one of the contending groups at the Tin Can Island Port Chapter; Prince Kayode Oyinlola group, has condemned the report and described it as mere trash.

The group has also lampooned members of the ekection panel saying that they do not have what it takes to execute their assignment.

Speaking with Shipping Position Daily in Lagos on Tuesday, Cordinator of the Oyinlola Campaign Group, Alhaji Akanni Balogun alleged that none of the petitions filed by the group to the panel were treated and that members of the panel were not always on ground.

"The panel does not have time for the job, several times when we have papers to submit to them at their Karat hotel (venue of the panel sitting) we did not find them, they have already made up their mind as to what they want to recommend", he alleged.

Balogun particularly took a swipe at the secretary of the panel, Mr. Tope Ogungbemile, saying that he is not knowledgeable enough about the politics of ANLCA.

"Ogungbemile has never been part of ANLCA, he was hurriedly welcomed because he was a manager to a former president of ANLCA, Okocha, what does Ogungbemile know about ANLCA politics, to me he is a nonentity" he alleged further.

He faulted the panel for recommendation that Apapa elections should be re-conducted, he argued that there was no opposition in Apapa and that the real opposition was technically knocked out as a result of his practicing license.

"Why are they recommending that election should be re-run where there is no opposition? Which means it is the same circle of people, and this is why we say the report should be thrown away".

He claimed that the opposition camp have been rejoicing immediately the panel submitted its report and that this means they have been privy to the report.
